Medicine at Aberdeen vs Nottingham

Hey everybody! I am international student and I have received offers from both, and trying to decide between the two. I really like the course structure at Aberdeen and how it’s a pretty small town. For Nottingham, I like that it’s close to London and it’s more popular than Aberdeen. However, I have seen terrible reviews of Nottingham med management and student support, while nothing about Aberdeen. So anyone with any advice about each of the medical schools, please let me know.
Thank you

I can’t speak for Nottingham as have no knowledge of it. Aberdeen is not a small town it is a City the 3rd largest in Scotland (behind Glasgow & Edinburgh). Aberdeen medical school is highly regarded and The Foresterhill campus Aberdeen ARI site is the largest hospital complex in Europe.

Hi- Nottingham isn’t really that close to London (at least not on UK levels), but it is pretty much in the middle of the UK so if you’re planning on sightseeing anywhere that could be helpful - and Nottingham has nice accomodation and great sports facilities I think

Thank you for replying! I just mean that compared to most cities it small, that’s what students told me like it’s super walkable. Do you know anything about student life and such?

Great sports facilities and societies. It is one of the ancient universities (think the 2nd oldest in Scotland), very well respected uni.
