How many guys think everything on Tiktok/Instagram is 'real'?

'Real' as in not edited.

It takes seconds for people, esp influencers, to edit/facetune/filter their face and bodytune their figure, making waist narrower skin smoother etc, eyes bigger nose smaller etc…. (Yes, it’s just as easy to edit videos as images nowadays.)

But there are so many men who seem to simp over TikTok influencers when it’s not even the ‘real’ them… do these men really believe what they’re seeing is, well, real?
I rarely use latter platform and you can’t trust the former one in my opinion.

I think that caring so much about influencers is silly .

I think most people know, they just dont care. Knowing a photo is edited doesnt make it any less appealing to view.

I don't think I 'care so much', I just wonder what men really think about them (the reality, or lack of, in their content), because it effects how they think about women's appearances in real life.

Sorry, I was referring to the men/people on that app who care so much about influencers, not yourself.

It doesn't really occur to me much but I'm not really the simping on youtubers type, but broadly yeah I'm aware a lot of people edit their appearance in some way. I mean they also wear make up, push up bras, shoulder pads and compression vests...
