What is the best way to revise for history and summarise all the information.Could anyone explain how to do the source questions in gcse ccea history x

When I was studying history in university, I found it best to remember a handful of key dates - because quite frequently that grounding will help you with tangential questions.

Remembering when Scotland signed the National Covenant, for example, always helped me ballpark the start of King Charles I’s reign, as well as the Bishops’ war. Remembering one date basically gave me a timeline for the entire genesis of the Covenanters.

Beyond that, make sure you know key player’s names. You never want to know something but be unable to include it in an essay section because “thingymabob” isn’t a proper noun.
