Student finance application question

Hi, so I made the mistake of adding my mum's partner onto my student finance application even though he lives in another country and has no income. Is there any way for me to remove him from my application? I tried calling but it just said to go to the live chat, but when I tried that it said that their was no one to talk to so I'm not sure what to do.

Hi there, are they married or do they live together (his name on the mortgage)? If so, we would require his details still to support your application. If she doesn't live with him or is married to him then I'd advise uploading a cover letter advising of the error and uploading evidence to show your mums single status (25/26 council tax bill if it's in her name alone). Thanks, Jason

They are married but her partner lives in another country and he isn't part of our household. Would I be able to cancel the application and start again?

If they are married we'd require him to support the application. If he has 0 income he can still login and provide his details or complete and upload the PFF2 form to either your or his account: https://media.slc.co.uk/sfe/2526/ft/sfe_pff2_form_2526_o.pdf Thanks, Jason
