GCSE OPTIONS help pls!!!
so I have to pick my gcses by this Friday! I thought I was certain on what to pick and these are my options (not a specific order):
Art
Spanish
Drama
Sociology
These all seem like subjects I’d really enjoy but i feel like it’s not very academic, I do very well academically but I really have a passion for creative subjects, someone said they are “unemployed options” 😔😭 So now I’m a bit unsure whether to pick them or not
My back up’s are Economics and History.
We already have to do RS in my school.
Are these good options or not or do you have any advice

hi there, year 12 student here!
i personally did drama history spanish business french and textiles as my options (some i did extra), and though im definitely more of an arts/humanities person, i was really grateful to do business as gave me a lot of really applicable insight into the world as a whole that i think evened out my options and led to me picking business as an a level. i’m planning to stay in arts and hums for future education, but having that business knowledge is something that i think i can definitely take with me to future careers and job roles, so business/economics sorts of subjects can definitely be useful

What do you want to do after GCSEs?
I did Art and Spanish so happy to answer questions on those 🙂 Picking subjects you love is the best idea. I enjoyed doing gcse art as it was very different from my other subjects (i did history and politics too) but you have to love it to do alright (i got a 6 in the end) because it takes up a lot of time. You dont have to worry about it past April in year 11 though which i found nice to be able to focus on my other subjects.
