Which one is better?

Hi @Sarinazameni

Great to hear you are thinking of Kingston!

I don't personally study fashion design here but I do study fashion promotion and communication so I can give you some insight.

One of the other Kingston Reps on here ( @Kingston Zhi En ) does study fashion design here so I can link some of their posts about the course.

You will be based at Knights Park, which has a collaborative atmosphere there is a river running alongside the campus which creates a nice outdoor social space, as well as the student bar being based there and a great library.

My lecturers all have lots of experience in industry which is really useful when they are giving feedback and setting projects that are relevant.

I would also really recommend going to open days for both unis as you can get a good insight as to what it may be like to study and live here and speak to current students and lecturers. More info about our upcoming open days are on the website Open Days and events | Kingston University London

If you have any questions in particular about Kingston or the course don't hesitate to ask

Hi there @Sarinazameni , just to add to what Grace has mentioned, Kingston BA Fashion differs from some of the other fashion courses in London as it does not offer specialist pathways (such as knit, print or womenswear design). The projects are pretty open ended and offer you the flexibility to explore menswear, womenswear, and knit depending on your preference. The teaching approach covers a broad range of subject areas (which includes print, knit) and the course is very industry focus with commercial industry projects with brands and work placement opportunities if you opt for a placement year/ study abroad 😄
Feel free to ask me any questions you may have about life in Kingston, placement year or about Kingston BA Fashion 🤗
