RADA round 4

Hello, two weeks ago my son was invited, via email, to round 4 RADA acting degree. We know the dates are between 22nd and 26th April.
Does anyone know how long he will wait to find out what date slot he has for the workshop please. Just so we can book trains and accommodation. Thank you.

I can't help you with timings, but I would look at booking a hotel with free cancellation - that way at least you should get a good rate and can release the nights you don't need when you hear back.

Hi, Yeah he did. They did an online workshop set aside 4hrs for it but it started about 6pm and he was finished about 9.20pm. They did their monologues and then were give direction to deliver differently them whilst speaking, he said it was really good, they broke off into smaller groups I believe too, to work together. Got 4th round in a couple of weeks.

Hi happy to - it was pretty much like the day at Conti- so movement class and a vocal session, plus everyone doing a new monologue of their choice either classical or contemporary. There was some improv and reading from an autocue and an interview. It all felt a bit daunting as first year I applied. If I think of anything else I will add to this. I know one person on waitlist and a few that got offers. .
