Both are brilliant universities! It will really come down to which one you feel would be a better learning environment for you. For example, when I was choosing to study at Sheffield I attended a taster lecture as part of an offer holder day. I really loved how friendly and enthusiastic the lecturers were. This is why I chose to study here!
Therefore, if you haven't done so already, I would attend some open days to allow you to get a feel for both universities and which may suit you better.
