How are you defining "better"? What are you looking for in a university or Architecture degree?

OK. But my questions still stands. You're asking, "Which is better to choose...?" - but we don't know what you mean by "better".

Do you prioritise reputation, graduate prospects, league table ranking, facilities, social life, teaching quality, etc.?

A university which is "better" for one person won't necessarily be "better" for another.

Hi Carlos Y,
Both are brilliant universities! It will really come down to which one you feel would be a better learning environment for you. For example, when I was choosing to study at Sheffield I attended a taster lecture as part of an offer holder day. I really loved how friendly and enthusiastic the lecturers were. This is why I chose to study here!

Therefore, if you haven't done so already, I would attend some open days to allow you to get a feel for both universities and which may suit you better. You can find more information about Sheffield open days here: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/undergraduate/visit/open-days. You may also find it helpful to talk to current architecture students, which you can do here: https://www.sheffield.ac.uk/study/chat

I have really loved my time at Sheffield, and would be happy to answer any other questions you have regarding the university or the city.
I hope this helped,
