How should I space out my revision?

1. Focus on one subject a day
2. One subject a week/every few days
3. Different subjects each day

Depends on how you work best but i found the most helpful method was doing 2 subjects for 30-60 minutes per week day during school time and then 3 subjects for 30-60 minutes at the weekend.

Hi @20afatah ,

These options entirely depend on your style of revision. Personally I recommend making a revision timetable based on what topics you need to dedicate more time to. To work this out, you could do question cards and see what topics you are weaker in or refer to quizzes/test you have done about particular topics. Based on this, spread your time effectively across various topics within the subjects.

Personally, I did 1-2 subject per day during my GCSEs, the subject chosen would change daily depending my revision timetable. This gave me enough time to take in the information and do some practice questions. I would spread this across 1 hour and 30 minutes on week days after school, while on a weekend I'd spend closer to 2 hours revising.

I highly recommend having at least one day a week of no revision in order to avoid burnout and ensure to dedicate time to continuing your hobbies, socialising and spending time being active.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
