considering my uni dorm will have a single bed does anyone know how to potentially extend it so that the width will be bigger? obviously without causing any damage lol

Do you know it'll be a single bed? Some uni accomodation has 3/4-sized beds (halfway between a single and a double).
To which uni were you referring? Have you been allocated your accomodation already?
