Glasgow School of Art Portfolio Prep course- Can I join societies?

I was studying something at college that I ended up not really liking from 2024-25, so I applied for the Glasgow School of Art portfolio preparation course and just found out I got in yesterday and will start later this year :biggrin:

BUT this means I won't start uni until 2026 and I really feel like I'm missing out a LOT on the social aspects of it. Ive seen that GSOA students can join Uni of Glasgow societies (correct me if im wrong??) but Im not sure what the consensus is on portfolio prep course students joining them. I would really like to as I hated being at college this year because I just had zero social life lol and I really hope its not like this next year, I graduated high school in 2024 so I feel a bit behind other people my age now :/
