Maintenance Loan
Hi, I'm completely new to all of this, I'm also confusing myself along the way.
I've recently applied for my maintenance loan, and I've already been given a set amount - the minimum loan. But I also have been asked for evidence.
Would that mean the amount I've been assessed for is bound to change based on the evidence provided?
I've applied as an independent student/care leaver and also applied for the maximum.
I'm not too sure what to do as I have submitted the evidence. Just wanted to know if anything would change.

Hi there, that is correct, when you have applied, we look to assess you as far as we can at that time. As further has been requested, this will allow for a reassessment to the application, once received and validated. Independent evidence reviews are currently taking an estimated 5 working days once the evidence has been submitted, with an update to follow 1 working day later to your online account or email.
