Harris Westminster (HESF) waiting list

I have received email stating I have been put on conditional waiting list in priority 3 group. My total is 4 marks less than the cutoff in this group. I am wondering if anyone in previous year got the admission after GCSE results while on conditional waiting list.

I am on the waiting list as well! A question - the mail says 480 offers have been made, while there are 300 places available. How does that work?

I suppose they give more offers than the seats available considering not everyone who received conditional offer may achieve the grade or join post GCSE results. Most students apply for more than 1 school and HWSF may not be their first choice.

Hi, my son was in the same situation 2yrs ago, priority 3 and 2 points from the cut off. He sent his results on results day in August and got offered a space the same day and enrolment took place the day after. Between people not making their grades and people going to other schools instead, you stand a very good chance to get in! Fingers crossed!

Also on the waiting list! Got 548 so 3 points off. What score did you get?

Hi, does it still work if you are not on any waiting lists?
