Cambridge reapplication

What experience do people have reapplying to Oxbridge from a different uni (eg not taking a gap year but accepting my second choice and reapplying from there)? Thank you

Check with the college you're applying to. Not all of them will accept applications from people who are at another university if there's not a significant change in course.

It's all explained on their webpages. Very difficult to do at Cambridge, a little more accepting at Oxford, but with conditions.

I think it's more of a general policy they have of not wishing to poach from other universities. If you want to apply to Cambridge, you would be best to take a gap year. Note things work differently for some international students due to the different educational systems and levels of specialisation. In this case, email the college and ask directly.
