Warwick MMath offers

Has anyone recieved an offer for maths MMath at warwick? I applied late october/early November and still haven't heard back. I'm worried it's due to my low TMUA score (I got a 4.0) but I haven't been rejected or asked to do STEP instead so i'm not sure.

SAME oh my days like why can’t they just let us know. I think it’s rejection (personally) cause all the maths offer holder days have been but if not, what are they playing at!!!???

That's so odd I know people with lower TMUA and gcses that applied around that time that have been accepted i don't understand what's going on

Were they possibly contextual? If so, TMUA score isn’t taken in to account. You should be able to tell if it’s contextual as the offer is likely to be A*A*B (standard offer A*A*A). From following various threads and chatting to others at the Bath maths open day last weekend, there are a lot of people still waiting to hear. The lowest non-contextual offers so far seem to be around 5.6 but they are still making them …. just very slowly. Good luck!

That's great news! Are you non-contextual?

Nope! Two non contextual offers one with 5.0 TMUA and the other with 4.1. They're being really confusing with their admissions.

Have you heard? One of my friends is still waiting!!! He got a 4.0. My other friend found out last week, she got 5.0 and said that was the cut off for no STEP requirements. I got a 4.5 but withdrew so I can even help them know if that's true or not.

4.5 here and still haven’t heard.

Urgh! I thought finding out end of Feb was bad enough. Really feel for you. At least you know it has to be before the 26th April. Try and enjoy the holidays and then you'll have an offer before you know it. 😉

AI (on google-not sure how they know) is saying a minimum 5 for no STEP offer. Have you applied for step? I'd have been screwed, that's why I withdrew when got first choice as I'm doing the IB and don't have STEP lessons. I'd have had no time to prepare 😢

Not going to do STEP so am fully expecting to have to forget the Warwick dream but it would be good just to know!

Nope :frown: it's looking like it's gonna be a no based on what other people have said

I dont know for definite but lots of people are saying 4.0 isn't going to be good enough in TMUA. Honestly i'm not sure i'm going to get the grades anyway and all this waiting has put me off a bit.
