Making this since I've seen other posts like this for LSE degrees but not for pure econ. Just wanted to see when people are receiving offers and make it easy for everyone to see. good luck to everyone!

What are your super-curriculars? Because lse emphasizes on the importance of personal statement so much

I didn't really have the opportunity to do a whole lot of supercurriculars (I live in France and it's not really a thing here) so I mainly spoke about books I'd read and my thoughts on their arguments and why I did/didn't agree by comparing it to data I'd seen elsewhere and other things I'd heard in some online seminars I attended (I specifically mentioned one about the Solow-Swan Growth Model and barriers to development) as well as mentioning a UWC summer camp I went on about designing sustainable cities (emphasising the different economic policies that we could introduce to help achieve these aims). I also mentioned my Extended Essay as I did it on the causes of the Asian Financial Crisis and then compared that to today's situation and explained any major comparisons I could find. I briefly mentioned some of the maths challenges I'd done but not in a whole lot of detail.

Tbh, my personal statement was quite heavy on analysis of the current global economy and other strategies that could be deployed by governments/businesses to further drive growth (I centered it around development economics) so was very much focused on what I've thought instead of what I've done.

yeah i'm not sure what they really want atp. and it's annoying how most offers are meant to come out before the offer holder day but there's literally been nothing recently and there's no way they'll give a crazy amount on Monday and Tuesday.

honestly 4.1 isn't even a bad score, i think u still have a chance if they like your personal statement. i've only seen maybe one person rejected because of TMUA and i think they got a 3.2 (not sure).

my top offer is from UCL/Warwick so far and i'll probably be insuring bath. where have u applied?
