Question on entry requirements

Hi there, hope everyone is doing well.

So, I have an issue regarding year entry. I'm currently studying an HNC in Computing and want to go to another university to do another course, specifically Ethical Hacking at Abertay. They accept an HNC as an equivalent of the first year of study, so I applied. However, they require the completion of a module, H17X Software Development: Programme Foundations, to be exact, which my college doesn't teach currently. I have done Advanced Higher Computing before, and in combination with the work I've done in my own time, I have all the evidence that I have the knowledge and course work of what that course teaches. So my question is, is it worth accepting a first-year entry to this course and then requesting a review, or is there anything I can do before I accept?

Then you need to talk to Abertay asap - you cannot just assume that they will accept what you have learnt if you don't have the very specific requirements that they wart.
