Edinburgh or Glasgow for uni?

I am currently deciding between going to Edinburgh or Glasgow to study psychology at university for undergraduate. I was wondering if anyone at either uni could tell me how they like the courses? I am leaning towards choosing Edinburgh because of its prestige and ranking, but I know Glasgow is very good as well. I've also heard slightly better things about the nightlife and city in general at Glasgow.

Thanks so much to anyone who can help

They are quite similar, although I think I prefer the Edinburgh one slightly!

Edinburgh is probably currently seen as a more interesting city - BUT, that is about to change as Glasgow will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games and this will mean lots of investment and upgrading of everything from transport to arts/culture, and obviously sports facilities.

Btw, 'prestige' is a bit of a loopy idea, and actually means very little to employers etc. You need to look instead at the optional units for all years of each year and think about what you would choose if you went there. And look for any extras - study abroad, work placements, units in other subjects.

I'd go to Glasgow because it's likely to feel more of a student city than the tourist city of Edinburgh. Graduate prospects in general for this course are better from Glasgow than Edinburgh too (Edinburgh's website is awful imo too). Glasgow is an older university than Edinburgh (not that that should be the defining reason - it will have been delayed by the fact that Edinburgh didn't become the capital of Scotland until the late 1400s).
