Its really annoying when I've heard she likes me (before I even began liking her), she shows signs of liking me; she told her friend that the reason why she walked off was because she had a "nervous overload and also because I kind of awkwardly appeared behind her, it scared her". Should I wait a few more months and try again if she and her friends keep looking and me and telling me she likes me?

Today I caught a woman I like looking at me and when she knew I caught her looking at me she quickly looks down and smiles/blushes what does this usually mean? We have a little bit of history (not dating). In the past she rejected me but I was told after by one of her friends she recently broke up with her ex. I've been told by her friends that she likes me a couple of times. However, when I tried to talk to her again to ask her out she did not keep any eye contact said she didn't want to talk in a abrupt way and rushed her friends out, after one of her friends told me "I don't think she wants anything"- that was a couple weeks ago. Her friends however keep looking at me (it kind of makes me a bit uncomfortable but I don't really care). What do you think I should do/ not do, I really like her.
