Looking for someone to rent my room over the summer in Cheney Student Village from middle of May time.

Generally, subletting or renting out your university accommodation room is not allowed, especially in the first year, unless it's specifically permitted in your agreement. Doing so can be considered a breach of contract.
However, I recommend contacting our Accommodation Team. They will be able to clarify the situation and advise you on available options.

You can always include your listing in the Brookes Union Student Housing (link) where it's common for current/ former students trying to get rid of their rooms. As mentioned in a different reply you can contact Accommodation Team ([email protected]) to get more information on how the room takeover would work and if it is permitted in your tendency agreement.
