Uni of Warwick or Uni of Birmingham

Hey so I've gotten all of my uni offers back for Biomedical Sciences but I'm not sure whether to firm Warwick or Birmingham, I went to the open days for both last summer and really liked both campuses and what they have to offer. They both have their pros and cons over each other which has made it really hard to decide. Does anyone have any recommendations or thoughts that could help?

Look at the course details - what are the optional units in each year of each course, and what would you choose if you went there?

What extras are on offer - study abroad or work placements etc - thee add enormously to your graduate CV.

Think about where you would live - not just on campus etc for your first year - and how much it will cost.

Big city (Birmingham), or a smaller place (Coventry) - which would suit you best.

Look at the campus tour films and 'tourist' films on YouTube.

Oh very good point with the living aspect after 1st year, I completely overlooked that thank you!

Birmingham. For Biomedical Sciences, better research, higher average entry grades (The Complete University Guide), and nicer campus (isn't all 60s architecture and after) and more lively city.
To be fair, the new Biomedical Building at Warwick cost a lot more to build (than Birmingham's), it appears. I'm just biased against 60s era universities because I prefer more history to a place, and also I don't like some of their so-called 'positive' discrimination aspects.
