I got a Grade 8 in Edexcel GCSE History so I'll help you.
So for History, it's really important you know your events and can put them in a chronological order so it's really important to create a timeline for History. For Paper 1, you need to know what people thought caused a disease and how people treated disease while also knowing what people thought prevented a disease (For Medicine but there's probably something similar for C+P). For this, I created a table which I looked at occasionally. For Paper 2, remember it's split in half so make sure you split your time evenly between the papers (didn't do this in the exam:blushing:). I'd personally recommend starting with the Early Elizabethan because I started with the other paper in my exam and from my experience that usually takes longer but up to you. Make sure you are can explain why as you need this skill in all 3 of your papers. For your 16 markers make sure (if you have time) to do 2 agree/disagree paragraphs (Whichever side you're arguing for) and 1 agree/disagree paragraph (whichever side you are arguing against). For Paper 3, I'd recommend trying a paper in exam conditions as I didn't do this because we finished just after Easter of Year 11. Any questions please let me know.:wavey:
