Regarding commute to 6th form via train

Hey all, I'm starting college soon and the college I would like to go to requires me to take a train there. However, I am slightly worried about this. For example, how would I get to the college if the train is cancelled? What if I have an exam and I'm late to the college because my train is delayed?

Could someone please give me any advice on this matter?
Many thanks
When it came to exams, I simply had the parent drop me off, I preferred not to take the gamble with the trains.

If the trains are cancelled and you don’t know anyone who can drop you off then a taxi or alternative form of public transportation would an option.

Being late? Not sure how forgiving your school would be but I just simply signed in and walked in late. It wasn’t my fault that I was late and there wasn’t any way that I’d get an earlier bus (I would have arrived at school too early to the point where the gates wouldn’t have opened).

Trains aren't late too often, and it happens. You'll have to walk in late.
If you have an exam and you're late, your sixth form will have procedures for this, usually you'll have to call them to let them know. If it is late though, and you have an exam, get an uber or taxi.

I took the train for the 6th form commute, lots of other students did too, it was fine 99% of the time. Don't worry about it
