Why not look at the university's website? The information which you seek is there. The answer is France and China (Hong Kong SAR).

Stiffy is partially correct; Exeter Uni offers 2 specialised Law with a year abroad courses (the Dual LLB / JD with the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the English Law and French Law Master 1 (Maitrise en Droit) LLB), however there is also the LLB Law with European Study which, during your 3rd year, you'll have a year abroad in Europe. The full list for partner universities with Exeter where you can study abroad can be found here, but to provide a short list they are

Germany

France (no English Taught modules)

Italy

Netherlands

Spain

Switzerland (no English Taught modules)

Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions feel free to ask

As far as I can tell, Exeter doesn't currently offer a Law partnership with any American universities, but that would probably be a question better asked to the Global Opportunities Team at [email protected] since they'll have more information

Hi user88663,

Congratulations on your offer and decision to study law at the University of Exeter.

Just to add to the previous links already helpfully shared in this thread, you might want to check out this webpage here. Where you can study abroad will be highly dependent on which course you are studying, and you can scroll down the linked page to find the current list of partner universities for students studying within the Law School. Although there isn't currently a partner in the USA, there is an option in Canada you might be interested in. It's also worth stating that these partner lists do regularly get updated, and so new opportunities may become available during your degree. I did a year abroad myself during my undergrad degree at Exeter and my destination university only got added during my second year. It's one of the best things I did during my degree so I'd thoroughly recommend it!

Let me know if you have any further questions I might be able to help with. As previously suggested, getting in touch with our Global Opportunities team would be worth doing if you have specific questions about how any of the study abroad schemes work.
