Ni issue

Hi my daughter has completed her first application for student finance for her first year
When she has logged onto her account it has stated her NI number already exists on the system
She has never applied for student finance before
Can you explain why this has happened
The only proof she has of her NI number is a digital.payslip which the site will not let her upload
Please can you advise whst number we can call to speak to a representative to resolve this situation please

Is your daughter in England?

If so, she can contact Student Finance England on 0300 100 0607. (Monday to Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday to Sunday, 9am to 4pm.)
