missing interview deadline at Newcastle

Hi, I got an interview at Newcastle university for pharmacy. the email was sent to my junk folder and I have only found it now, after the interviews have ended. I emailed asap explain what had happened, do you think they'll understand and give me a chance? It's the one place I have my heart set on

It really depends on whether they had finished all the interviews. If they had interviewed all the sortlisted some time ago, they probably won't do you the favour unless a significant proportion of interviewees performed badly.

Maybe rude, there are lots of reminders on checking spam mails.
