I am! My school split up our OCR course into doing units 1 and 2 in year 12 and the CR unit in year 13, so we've only got about a weeks worth of content left.

My teacher is convinced that the interpretations question will be the new deal and NA. The other units we do are England 1445-1509 and International relations 1890-1941 (aka the unit from HELL)
I took OCR A Level during the first year of this specification. For Paper 1 I was on Pitt to Peel; Paper 2 Cold War in Asia and Paper 3 Civil Rights USA.

omg no way! honestly section A i have no idea but the 2024 one was AWFUL we sat it for our mocks - so i'm hoping it'll be a bit nicer for us

as for section B I am PRAYING for a henry vii foreign policy question

the options in the 2024 paper were on henry vii's domestic policy and edward iv's control of the nobility in his 2nd reign

yeah I agree, though it's quite nice that it's split up into 1445-1461 and 1461-1509 for section A/B

for foreign policy essays - do you prefer to write them more focused on stages of foreign policy or aims or relations with different countries generally? I've been experimenting a bit with using the 3 phases of foreign policy and trying to weave that in more with fp essays for henry vii

both ways of doing it are reasonable and I always find the nice thing about essay subjects is that you can still maintain your own sort of writing style

good luck with your revision! and with exams of course cos they are creeping up on us a little too quick :frown:

there's so little online for it and I swear no-one else does it ☹️ I cannot wait to be done with it
too much content for only 15% of the grade is evil

could not agree more with you about the TEXTBOOK omds
my teacher was great but even she agreed that everything about IR sucks - my school has changed that unit to Italy for year 12s and I'm so jealous because it looks so much nicer

they're absolutely in for it bless them
I'm really banking on there being a question on appeasement this year, have you got any predictions/hopes for the exam before our dreams are crushed on June 12th?

I think a 10 on new technology vs tactics in WW1 could be quite a nice question but it could literally be anything - good luck revising!
