MSA for undergrad architecture

I just got rejected from Bartlett a few days ago after waiting for three months for them to assess my application, so now my top choice is gone… but now I’m thinking abt Manchester as my top choice for undergrad architecture, I haven’t seen a lot of discussion here about the course and student life there so I’m wondering if anyone has done the course before or is also thinking abt going to MSA for undergrad architecture this fall!!

Omg hi!! May I ask where you’re studying right now and if you’ve been to Manchester before? I’ve heard that it’s a great place to do architecture but don’t remember much about the city from my last visit hahaha

I just got my offer from MSA yesterday after over 6 months of my application getting assessed. I also got rejected by my top choices so I think I’m probably going to MSA too!

Hey! I currently study in a small town in South West Scotland not far from the border. I’ve never actually been to Manchester as I’m normally stuck in my town working for my parents and stuff, but my brother is a huge Man U fan so he goes every year for football games lol. I had totally given up hope that I’d get into MSA after having my 3rd rejection from Edinburgh, and was coming to terms with going to what was originally my bottom choice (Strathclyde, although there are a load of pros to the course there for me) when I got totally surprised by getting an offer! I’m really happy honestly

Of course! Honestly the one thing that’s making me nervous about going to MSA is really not knowing anyone lol cos at least if I went to Glasgow I have friends who are going to the other unis there and family there too

May I know why you prefer studying architecture in MSA ? What do you think Architecture in NUS. Actually NUS architecture ranks also top in QS. I got an offer from MSA and I have also applied to NUS architecture. My IB final grade will come in July and see if I will be admitted

Personally for me it’s rlly just location preference, I’ve lived in Singapore for quite some time and the island is not rlly for me hahaha I find it too hot and humid and also rlly small, but NUS is a rlly good school and u should definitely also consider it!
