lsbu cancelled their therapy course btw, they only do hygiene now (I applied for therapy and they called to say the course doesn't exist anymore)
The same thing happened to me, Does anyone know why this happened? Also a lot of dental hygiene courses can be completed in 2 years by getting a diploma, why is LSBU's dental hygiene course 3 years?
Anyone heard back from Portsmouth for dental hygiene? X

Hi Alfie ! I’ve secured a place at uni of plym and have accom booked in the centre. I have to bring my car, no doubt. Is it possible to park it on a side street or is it all permit only ? Weird question i know, but i was wondering if you could help me out here and lmk thank you!

Hi there, great question actually as I'm bringing my car this year for the first time and have been thinking the same thing! 😄
On-street parking is very limited and mostly restricted until beyond the train station etc. unless you have a permit- most student accommodations and some private houses aren't included in permit parking so this is often not an option for most.
Season ticket parking is available at most council car parks, but can be expensive, but are usually secure and close by to the university, making them very convenient options if you need access to your car frequently for work etc.
You can also look on other websites to find season parking for other long-stay car parks nearby, like shopping centres or private driveway spaces etc.
There are also a number of park and rides around the city- I'll be using this when I'm back at university as there is one by the Plymouth Life Centre that you can park for free but is a distance away so you can use the buses to get where you need to go in the city from there, so I'd recommend checking the council website for information on this too.
Just be careful if you're leaving your car for long periods a distance away from you, but there are quite a few options you can look into 😄
Good luck! 🚙
