Hiii ! I would say accept the offer for Portsmouth! I attended the open day a few months back and spoke to someone who was in the same situation as you too! They told her that she could move up to study Dental therapy and Hygiene after she completed 1 year of Dental nursing. This is practically a 'foundation year' in any words, as any other course that thinks you have the potential to study this course would give you this opportunity!! It would also be a great chance to meet new people and also get a head start by learning some skills in dental nursing which could be used for dental hygiene and therapy.☺️
oh damn i had the same offer but i rejected it😭 but they sent me an email saying i could contact them if i change my mind
Does anyone know how many places to get into dental hygiene and therapy in these universities? - [ ] lsbu - [ ] Plymouth - [ ] essex - [ ] portsmouth - [ ] suffolk
Hi Binky, Just to update you at LSBU, it’s the Dental Therapy course that is currently suspended, so we will no longer be offering this course at the university. However, the Dental Hygiene course is still running, and we currently offer 12 places for that intake. Please also note that dental course applications usually open later for the following year’s entry, so it’s a good idea to keep in contact with us for the most up-to-date information. Hope this helps, and all the best with your plans!
