SFE Mistake when applying

Hi, I'm currently on an Art Foundation course and when I saw it in the application I must've said that I've previously done Higher Education, when I didn't my course is Further Education. I don't know where to amend this error on my application and I'm quite stressed about the whole thing. 😥

Hi there, if you upload a cover letter to your account advising you made an error then this will go to be rectified for you in an estimated 5 working days. Thanks, Jason

What do you mean by cover letter? I just want to make sure before I submit the wrong thing by mistake.

Upload a cover letter (either from your notes on your phone or Microsoft word) advising on the error so the assessors can rectify this. Thanks, Jason

Thank you for letting me know! 🙂🙂 I also have to ask is there any way I'll know that this has been rectified or will I just have to assume that it is?

It's fine, I'm just trying to cancel my application so I can redo it since one of the advisors on the virtual chat told me to do so this morning.

Everytime I go to cancel I'm told to call a number but that number sends me back to the website and says I can cancel there but the website tells me to phone up and I've been in this loop for the past hour. I've never had a loan before, this is my first time ever applying I'm genuinely so confused on why I can't just cancel through the website.

Hi there,

To cancel your application please click into the correct academic year application, from the Information and Guidance links on the right-hand side under the Manage your Student Finance banner you can then select the ‘View and manage your applications’ link.
If you are unable to make the cancel the application online you will need to complete a change of circumstances form, which can then be uploaded through your online account.
