Newcastle A101 GEM 2025 Offer Holders

Do you guys know how many postgraduates there will be? I couldn’t seem to find how many offers they usually make.

I have pretty much firmed my Newcastle offer cannot wait to be going here

honestly I'm not sure, I keep going back and forth between Newcastle and Swansea! Newcastle was my first choice when I was applying but part of me thinks it would be nice to be on a grad only course and I can't decide ://

Thank youuu!! What are people thinking for accommodation? I have had a look at both postgraduate and undergraduate but would much prefer a postgraduate flat

I’m looking at off campus accommodation. If anyone familiar with Newcastle has advice on areas to look at, I’m coming from London and have no clue 😅

ooh, Jesmond is the newcastle student classic, as in the area around the r west jesmond metro stop is super popular with students. someone reccomended i check out Heaton because it is less gentrified so cheaper. my friend lived in sandyford road and said it was a rly quiet chill place in between the centre and jesmond. but obvs idk if postgrads maybe live elsewhere to undergrads!?

Hi all, have firmed my choice for Newcastle so looking forward to seeing everyone there!! Where can i find more info on the 10th of May offer holder day? Checking my emails but can't seem to find anything related.

I’m leaning toward firming A101 GEM instead of A100. Has anyone done the same already? Or talked to any grads on the course? There were none at my offer holder day either 😅

Yea I was hoping for grad experiences at open day but it was still good to hear from other students and learn the course structure a bit more. Did anything sway you to the final decision of A101? Still a bit undecided before making the commitment 😅

Hey!! I was gonna wait till after the open day, find out more info and figure out what to do about accom, but i found nothing out tbh 😭 what r peoples plans for accom (student accom, ug/pg, private etc…)

I am going to find private accomodation, I've done student accom before and want somewhere a bit nicer this time round 🙂. Ideally i would like to share a place with people on the same course as we're all a bit older and would have similar timetables etc., so if anyone is interested then lmk!!!
