is an ma in econ worth it or is a bsc more highly regarded?

In Scotland, most Uni undergraduate Econ degrees are called MA - because they are usually 4 years long, but they are still undergraduate degrees, In the rest of the UK, Econ degrees are called BSc, or BA or BEcon or whatever.

The title is decided by whatever the tradition of that particular Uni is, and it mean nothing significant.
One is certainly not 'better' than the others - because employers don't care.
