LAET life (gonna start sep 2025)

how is everything at laet in terms of opportunities? like what r the most popular clubs and is there anything like badminton for sports?? i read on the website there is indoor climbing but I have no idea what that's abt lol so any comments would be useful.

also I'm gonna get my results online in an email (my school doesn't give physical copies) so would that be fine on enrollment day? like could I just show them the email (there is no time to print it out either as I heard the first group starts at 9 am. i live 2 hrs away so I have to start from home at 7 am and would get my results mid journey on the train, as results come out at 8) thanks!!

they have a nice lil spreadsheet with loads of work experience, summer school, uni access programmes, contextual offer programmes etc. They also offer a lot of super-curricular activities such as subject scholars, where you go beyond the spec and learn basically extra content for the sake of it (+for your CV)

sports clubs are outside but it’s normally in dukes (secondary school next door) or the sports centre, i think its a five minute walk?? exams are in school though but we use, the hall, and the two study spaces to do it

Dk about @anasn but i havent heard anything about a badminton club. Towards the end of the year tho there were talks about a sports society (or club i don’t remember) so there is a very high potential for badminton
