I have a University of Bolton physiotherapy group interview, How do i prepare myself?

I have an upcoming interview for the University of Bolton for physiotherapy, but it's a group interview where I can only assume they will be testing our traits that are best suited for a physiotherapist. It would be highly appreciated if anyone has any experience or advice that could help prepare me more.

It might be worth asking in the physio applicants thread:

There are some general tips in the following thread for preparing for healthcare interviews:

Hey there,

My name is Siobhan and I'm a third year physiotherapy student at UCLan. Congrats on getting and interview, you should be very proud of yourself! Here are some tips that might help you:

Active listening - when working in a team, make sure you take on board what others say and value this in a discussion. Show that you are listening and lift up their ideas. If you disagree with someone then make sure rationalise your view without putting down others. This links well with what you have to do in an MDT.

Clear communication - Linking to what I said before, when demonstrating your ideas to a team, ensure that your rationale is clear and concise. Make sure that your team understands you and be happy to explain any terminology or phrases that others might not know. This makes sure you're all on the same board.

Body language - Use open and friendly body language when talking to others. This is a key thing that physios need to use when with patients or with staff as it eliminates any barriers and builds rapport.

A good thing you can use to see what kind of skills a physio would need is the 6 C's, which are key traits that all healthcare workers should have.

Hope this helps and please let me know if you have any more questions!!

I had mine and it went well. I’d say just be confident in what you’re saying and you’ll definitely get an offer.
