Hi! I was wondering if anyone knew how many students there are in each year for the Edinburgh Fine Art BA course, and what the acceptance rate is for England applicants?

This isn't for the fine arts but for the graphic design online session they said they accept something like 20-30 students so it might be similar to that!

I believe Edinburgh as a whole have a very low offer rate, not sure about ECA but it would be interesting to know. Daughter has an offer for fine art to enter year 2 as she is a UK student and is doing her foundation from home. She still hasn't decided where to go despite Edinburgh being her dream from day 1 of 6th form.

I have just looked at the published data for 2024 which is as follows for Fine Art:
UK applications - 122, offered 40 (33%), places accepted 13
Scottish applications - 111. offered 32 (29%), places accepted 12
So looks like 20-30 places is about right with around a 30% offer rate
