My flatmate keeps making herself sick and I don’t know what to do about it?

Im rly concerned about my uni flatmate as I keep an hearing her making herself sick ( in a bulimic way ). Its been going on for a couple weeks at least once a day now and I’m rly stuck what to do about it. I asked the other day if she was being sick when I heard her and she just lied and said no. I’m not sure whether to have a more formal I know ur doing this kinda convo as I’m really awkward about emotions/mental health issues? I also have her parents contact details and I’m tempted to let them know as this issue is beyond me but I still feel like I can’t ignore it but at the same time I feel like I’m going behind her back and don’t want to harm our friendship?

Any advice would be really appreciated thx

There is a charity called BEAT that you could call for advice.I am a mum and if it was my daughter I would want to know.It is a difficult one you could go to uni counsellors I suppose but they will not inform parents. Are you freshers?Perhaps you could have a chat about how she is feeling in general,is anything stressing her out at the moment.
Bulimia is a difficult one,my sister had it when she was about 18 and she was getting worse and worse although I called her out on it ,and my mum was in denial so in the end I told my dad and he confronted her and insisted she see a psychiatrist. She did recover thankfully.
Tbh I would phone the parents if she has a good relationship with them.

I wouldn't intervene, it's her own life and personal problems
