westminister or kingston for ba fashion?

what are the pros and cons of them both? how do people find the course?
Hi there, I am a placement year student at Kingston BA Fashion 🙂
My favourite part about Kingston are the amazing open access workshop facilities 🤩 Ranging from metal working, ceramics, printmaking, knitting to photography, anyone from any course are able to access these facilities!
Regarding the fashion course itself, Kingston BA Fashion differs from other fashion courses in London as it does not offer specialist pathways (such as knit, print or womenswear), instead the projects are pretty open ended and offer you the flexibility to explore menswear, womenswear, and knit depending on your preference. The teaching approach covers a broad range of subject areas (which includes print, knit) and the course is very industry focus with commercial industry projects with brands like Gap, Inditex and Marks and Spencer to name a few.
I would highly suggest coming for one of our upcoming Open Days to get a sense for the campus, facilities and speak to current students and course tutors! 🤗 Open days are especially helpful to see for yourself if the course is the right fit for you. Location is also an important factor that you might want to consider, Kingston is located in south west London bordering beautiful green spaces like Richmond Park and Hampton Court.
Feel free to ask me anyone questions you may have about life in Kingston and I hope this helps!
