Can I do A level french, english and history without maths gcse?

My exams are in a few months and I got a 3+ in maths in my mocks last month which is close but not a guaranteed pass. My school has never mentioned needing certain grades in maths for doing courses that aren't maths itself, just that I need maths to get into the sixth form or I will retake it while starting the a level courses. As far as I know the only requirements for taking my chosen subjects are getting a 6 or above in the subjects at gcse. But can I definitely do my chosen courses since they aren't mathsy?

If it’s not a requirement then maybe, ask your sixth form.

But you’ll need to resit Maths regardless, many universities courses and employers require you to pass Maths.

I did French and the course wasn’t mathsy at all.
