help with GCSE maths question

Can someone help me with this question please.
The diagram shows a circle. Work out the area of the circle.
Leave your answer correct to 2 decimal places
it says that the diameter is 7cm.
so can anyone help me please.

Area of circle = π x r²

You need the radius, which is half of the diameter. 1/2 of 7 = 3.5

So Area of circle = π x 3.5². You can just put that into your calculator and round it to 2 d.p.
