Compelling Personal Reasons

I've recently just got out of an abusive relationship. The reason I'm at the uni I'm at is because he was controlling, and forced me to go there over the unis I wanted to go. I also had to take a lot of time out of uni because of him and his treatment. Now that I'm out of the relationship, I've applied to and been accepted by a uni I wanted to go to. Would I be able to claim CPR and get a year back from SFE (for an integrated masters or placement year), and how would I go about submitting evidence for this?

I've spoken to a student advisor about it, I was wondering whether a letter from her would be sufficient proof?

Hi there, as long as the letter is on headed paper from someone at your university or college who can confirm your situation and when you left the course, then this should be sufficient. Thanks, Jason
