3 A-levels and 4th AS level needed for med?

Hi I’m a y13 (Northern Ireland so a y12 in England) wanting to apply for medicine (especially in Queens University Belfast) who was studying 4 AS levels (Biology, Maths, Chemistry and History) up until a few weeks ago when I dropped History. Will this affect my medical school opportunities (especially at Queens)? Will other people with a 4th AS level be seen as ‘better’?
Thanks!

If you can achieve A*AA then no it won't.THere is a Belfast Queens Applicants thread and if you go there there is a post with a link for entry conditions. It will also be on Queens website.

Double check the requirements of the unis you are wanting to apply to. But i know that most unis (in england at least) require just the 3 a-levels. As long as you get the required grades, then you will be fine. Subject wise you are doing biology, chemistry and maths which are the main 3 subjects that you would need for medicine.

Good Morning!

double check the entry requirements but generally speaking, most uni's only require 3 A-levels.

Kind regards, Jenifer (kingston rep)
