depends on ur uni. But in general defo more your perspective. they’re never really testing your knowledge cuz they understand you’ve never done the course before. They just wanna see if your views on architecture aligns with theirs

Oh okok. I have an interview for ucl. So if you know anything about how the interviews work, like do they cut you off immediately when 5 mins is up when you're presenting your portfolio.

i’ve had 2 for ucl and offers for both so i know a fair bit about the interview process lol. They will cut you off after 5 minutes if you’re not finished, they’re on strict time schedules. Main piece of advice would be to go over your portfolio as many times as possible. Try not to make it sound extremely rehearsed but obviously you’re under strict time constraints. They’ll give you a 2 minute warning if you look like you might not get done in time, but that’s it. As for questions, that’s the easier bit, no time limits. They’ll just ask very basic things nothing requires much thinking- but still prepare generic questions such as why architecture etc. They’ll ask maybe 4-5 questions after portfolio presentation. That’s it really.
