Anyone on here still waiting to hear from Edinburgh, Strathclyde & St Andrews?

When did you apply? I applied on the deadline date and got a rejection from Strath. Still waiting from Edinburgh and Aberdeen

I applied end Nov and got unconditionals for Aberdeen & Stirling by mid Dec. Do you have grades in hand or sitting this year? What course?

I’m sitting 3 advanced highers and a higher, and I got 4 As and a B at higher and 8 As and a B at Nat 5. I applied to law last minute (i know, i know, it’s very competitive) so I haven’t got any offers yet.
Ngl if i applied months before like when you did, I would’ve got into places like Strath, which rejected me due to my grades not being 5 As at higher (even though i was meeting the requirements) and because they had limited spaces.
Edinburgh haven’t got back to me yet, but they should get back to us either this week before april, or sometime in april. Doubt they’ll wait till May.

It makes no difference when you applied as long as it was before deadline. Anyone that applies before deadline is given equal condition so that’s not correct about Strath, although I have heard that there have been lots of applicants. Good luck!

yes there is equal consideration, however the ‘unspoken’ rule is that if you apply on let’s say the deadline date. Your chances are significantly lowered, there is equal consideration but there also kind of isn’t… And I know you may not believe that but there are admissions officers that admit that. The unis say there is ‘equal consideration’, however timing is extremely important and does affect your application believe it or not.
