Bad year 13 mock results

Hi, I recently completed my mocks and got ACC (chemistry, maths and biology) and I need AAA to meet my uni offer.

In all honesty I did not revise nearly as thoroughly as I should’ve done, I had med interviews in January and instead of putting my head down and focussing in Feb I spent a lot of time stressing over offers. I know these mocks are a result of my poor organisation and effort but I’m still feeling quite terrified for the real thing, I’ve started putting in some proper effort now but that feeling of terror that I’m gonna do really bad in the real thing is becoming overwhelming.

Id really appreciate some tips or guidance from someone who has been in a similar position/is in a similar position as to how I can overcome these feelings and focus on my actual A-levels because I guess it’s good that these results are only mock results and not the real thing.

Hi there
My son got AAC in Y13 mock but ended in the real exam with A*A*A with A*in chemistry instead of C and A* in Maths and A in biology. Many students feel a bit worn out during the A level course. For now you step back and roll your sleeves, create top revision plan and put your absolut energy into it because this is the real exam that matters. Good luck

Wow, those are really impressive grades!! Glad to know I still have hope lol, if your son doesn’t mind I’d really appreciate if he could give some tips for revising biology and maths

You definitely do, it’s all about mindset at the end of the day. Don’t let the mocks be a set back or you allowing urself for failure, taking it as what you need to improve on so you know what to revise for for the good grades!! Stay optimistic
