Maybe check your sixth form’s website to find the course requirements. It may be different depending on which sixth form you want to go to but my local one (for example) says you don’t need to pick it for GCSE as you can do it as long as you have a decent grade in science.

Hey @Poppy2010!,

As Mickey Mouse 1 said above, it's a good idea to check out the entry requirements for any local sixth forms which offer Sports Science at A-Level as requirements will differ between different sixth forms/colleges. Since not all schools will offer Sports Science at GCSE-level, it might not necessarily be a requirement to study the A-Level; however, having a good science background (e.g. choosing Physics, Chem or Bio at GCSE) could be advantageous, especially if Sports Science is a subject you would consider studying further on at university-level. 🙂

Best of luck with your GCSE choices,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
