What do people like about nature ?

What a lovely question!

I think (like a lot of people) I got more into nature during the pandemic, and it now has quite a calming effect on me especially being beside water, which is pretty key this year, especially as a busy final-year student. Nowadays, I really value green space, rural walks, and the seaside.

I partly chose my university (University of Salford) because of his green the campus is and how easy it is to get to Salford Quays where you can enjoy a pretty walk by the river. I was very aware when deciding where to study that I would be moving from the southern countryside to the Northwest to study I knew moving into Manchester city centre would be too much for me. Therefore Salford was the perfect mix of being close enough to enjoy everything the hustling and bustling city has to offer such as gigs, meals out, and arcades, whilst simultaneously being far enough away that I am surrounded by green space so it is easy to go for a nice walk without needing to travel anywhere.
