Sqa 2 papers of the same subject for the same person

Hello, I got this intrusive though this pass weeks that someone could put my details in an sqa exam of a subject im alredy doing and because
of that i would fail for cheating.
Can someone tell me if this is even possible to happen?

Let me ease your mind. No one is going to do that. Ever.

If someone is doing the same subject as you, they wouldn't put down your details on their paper because then who is sitting the exam for them? You're doing the exam as yourself. They're doing the exam pretending to be you... but no one is doing the exam as them. They'd not get a grade because a paper with their details on it wouldn't be handed in for marking. No one wants to fail so it would be pointless.

Now, I won't say I'm 100% sure it would never happen (as you can never be 100% of something like this, in my opinion), but I would say that I'm 99.999999999999999...% (you get the idea) sure that this will not happen.

in the highly unlikely scenario that someone decided to throw away their own exam potential to put your name down, SQA would spot it and realise that it has happened and would be able to know who had done it to you and likely ask your teacher t confirm which one is yours

On the paper you are to write your seat number and your school and teachers will have a record of the everyones seat number, so on the off chance that would happen it would be caught unless they could figure out your seat number or memorise it. Good luck with your exams
