Oxford Re Application Advice

Hey All,

I looked through the TSR posts throughout the years about this. But I think I need some more advice.

I was rejected from JMC, my interviews went poorly but I was still very close (I got my rank).

Whilst I did try incredibly hard and I'm ready to move on to Imperial JMC, the idea of three years of tutorials really excited me.

Can I reapply while enrolled; I know that we're not supposed to but, how would they ever know? Whats the worst that can happen - they reject me?

Imperial JMC >> Oxford JMC so don't even worry about reapplying. Currently an IC JMC who felt similar to you last year and don't regret a thing. In fact, I believe it was a blessing in disguise that Oxford rejected me as good things happened for me this year that probably wouldn't have happened at Ox.

Live, laugh, love, Imperial and don't look back

You cannot re-apply whilst enrolled at university. You have to re-apply like everybody else, unfortunately. ☹️

Of course they’d know because you apply through UCAS and presumably you are holding an offer for Imperial via UCAS.

Also, you’d be asking your referee to lie by omission. And you’d be gambling on not being asked about your gap year plans at interview.
