Kingston Uni Pharmacy with a Preparatory year

Hi,

Unfortunately due to my research I was unaware of this course at Kingston. I applied for the same course in Reading and got declined as my predicted grades are, Distinction in Applied Science, B in Welsh Baccalaureate and C in English Literature and Language. My mum also went to your university and studied Biomedical Science! I am completely aware I can’t apply now, however my mum talked to Jennifer B via the live chat and she mentioned that ‘intake for the September 2025 are still ongoing’. Please could you advise me on how to apply, as I am eager to study this course at Kingston for 2025. I’ve already submitted my application so i’m guessing I only have clearing as an option if it is one. ;(

Well done on your predicted grades!

Having just had a Quick Look through the UCAS website, I see that you can still apply to this course with the link below. However, since it is past the deadline day- you can still apply but if the course has been filled then your application may not be looked over. It is still worth a try!

Another option is to wait until results day to access the course through clearing if there is availability.

Hi there!

Have you used all five choices in your original UCAS application?

If you haven't used all five choices you can add Kingston University. If you've used all five but weren't accepted or you declined your offers, you can use UCAS Extra to add another choice at no additional cost before Clearing begins.

Eligibility for UCAS Extra requires you to hold no offers from your initial five choices. If you still have choices available, you can simply log into your original application to add more courses. Note that once you select a new choice through UCAS Extra, you cannot return to your original choices, and you can only add one course at a time.

Otherwise, you'll need to wait until Clearing and select us although it can't be guaranteed there will be places left on the course.
